Sometimes you don’t stop praying because you stopped caring—you stop because you’re tired. Tired of hoping, waiting, and wondering if anything will ever change. So you let it go, convincing yourself it’s better not to expect anything at all.
But just because you stopped asking doesn’t mean nothing is happening. Some things don’t disappear—they’re still unfolding, quietly, in ways you can’t see yet.
Angel: She gave up on that prayer.
God: I’m still answering it.
Because my timing isn’t tied to her hope.

Angel: But she stopped praying about it months ago.
God: I know. She got tired of asking. She convinced herself it wasn’t going to happen. She told herself she was being delusional for hoping. But just because she stopped praying doesn’t mean I stopped working.
Angel: Does she need to start praying again?
God: No. Her old prayers are still on file. The ones she whispered through tears. The ones she begged me for in the middle of the night. The ones she gave up on because the wait got too long. I heard every one of them. And I’ve been moving things into place ever since.
Angel: So what happens now?
God: Now I bring her the answer she stopped expecting. And it’s going to surprise her. Because she’ll see that just because it didn’t happen on her timeline doesn’t mean I forgot. I never forgot. I was just preparing the right moment.

Angel: She’s going to be in awe.
God: She is. She’s going to realize that what she gave up on, I never gave up on. And that what she stopped believing for is about to arrive anyway. Because my timing isn’t tied to her hope. I’m faithful even when she’s not.
