You Were Never Meant To Carry Everything Alone

Give yourself credit for how bravely you’ve carried this season. And then give yourself permission to admit you were never meant to carry all of it alone. God has been meeting your strength with his own, holding the parts that became too heavy, and loving you through every moment you thought you had to survive by yourself.

Angel: She thinks she’s alone in what she’s carrying.

God: She isn’t. I’ve been holding half of it.

Angel: She doesn’t know that.

God: No. She thinks every step she’s taken has depended entirely on her.

The moments that looked like coincidence when they were really mercy

Angel: But she’s carried so much.

God: She has. I’m not taking that away from her. She’s been incredibly brave. She’s kept showing up on days when it would’ve been easier to disappear. She’s made hard decisions, prayed through tears, and kept putting one foot in front of the other.

Angel: Then what have you been carrying?

God: The parts that would’ve broken her. The despair that never fully reached her. The hopelessness that could’ve swallowed her. The moments that looked like coincidence when they were really mercy.

Angel: Will she ever see that?

God: One day she’ll look back and realize she was stronger than she knew. And she’ll also realize she was never expected to be strong enough on her own. I was always there.
