Your Bedtime Prayer 7/15/25: Conquering A Guilty Conscience

Evening Devotional

Guilt weighs heavily, but God offers forgiveness freely. Confession isn’t about punishment—it’s about cleansing and renewal.

So when guilt is hanging on your mind and you are regretful for your actions, bring them to the Lord so He can forgive you, cleanse you, and takeover this weight. You don’t have to carry the burden anymore, for He is here to rescue you as long as you are willing to learn, change, and try again.

If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.

1 John 1:9

Evening Prayer

Dear God,

I confess my sins to You.
I know I’ve fallen short, time and time again.
But I also know Your mercy is greater than any fault of mine.
Wash me clean.
Cleanse my mind, body, and soul of this guilt that hangs over me.
Let tonight be the end of my shame and the beginning of restoration.
Thank You Lord for forgiveness.
Thank You Lord for second chances.
I will try to be better, Lord,
and walk more fully in Your light.

Amen.
