Evening Devotional

Friendship is one of God’s sweetest gifts. In a world of quick connections and shallow exchanges, true friends reflect His loyalty and love.

He fills the voids in our life with our chosen family; the ones we choose to call brother, sister, mother, family. The ones that always pick up the phone when we call, check-in when we are low, celebrate with us when we succeed, and make every little moment in between one to smile about.

True friendship mirrors God’s light and steadfast care. Nurture these friendships; cherish them; rejoice in their glorious power to heal us, help us, and bring us closer to the Lord.

A friend loves at all times, and a brother is born for a time of adversity.

Evening Prayer

Dear Lord, 
Thank You for the people who choose me, check in, laugh with me, and pray for me. 
Bless my friendships. 
Bring peace and joy into their lives.
Let Your light pierce any struggle they may be facing or come to encounter.
Let me love as well as I am loved.
Let me bring them as much joy, care, and support as they bring to me.
Thank you, Lord, for this life and the people in it.
