God: You’re almost there

You: Almost where, God?

God: The breakthrough. The thing you’ve been praying for. The answer you’ve been waiting for. You’re so close.

You: It doesn’t feel like it

God: I know. It never does right before it happens. You feel furthest from it when you’re actually closest to it.

You: How do you know I’m close?

God: Because I can see what you can’t. I see the pieces falling into place. I see the timing aligning. I see everything you’ve been waiting for coming together.

You: So what do I do?

God: Don’t quit. Don’t give up. Don’t stop believing. You’re so close to seeing why it took this long. Why I made you wait. Why the timing had to be exactly right.

You: Okay, God. I trust you.

God: Hold on. Just a little longer. You’re almost there.
