Commitment to God isn’t about abandoning your dreams but about surrendering them into divine hands where they can be refined, redirected, and established beyond what you could accomplish alone. When you release your grip on outcomes and trust God with your plans, you create space for divine wisdom to shape what you’re building.
“Commit to the Lord whatever you do” means bringing your work, relationships, creative projects, and daily activities into conscious partnership with divine purpose. This isn’t religious ritual but sacred collaboration—inviting God’s presence into everything you undertake, allowing His love to infuse even ordinary tasks with eternal significance.
The promise that “he will establish your plans” doesn’t mean God rubber-stamps whatever you decide. It means that when you surrender your plans to divine wisdom, God works within and through them to bring about outcomes aligned with your highest good. Sometimes this looks like your original vision fulfilled; other times it involves transformation into something better than you imagined.
This commitment requires releasing the illusion of control. You can make plans and work diligently, but ultimate success doesn’t depend solely on your efforts.
