Your Daily Devotional 6/30/2025: Stop Believing the World’s Lies

Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.

Romans 12:2

Devotional Message

Often in this world, with the pain and suffering that manifests around us, we question the will of God. Each time we read the news, we find ourselves asking, ‘How can God allow this to happen?’ It is in moments such as these that we must continuously evaluate and discern what is truly the will of God and what is not. When we understand God’s deepest desires and purposes for our lives—to experience joy, freedom, and love—anything that contradicts this divine intention is not part of God’s will. We have an active choice to resist conformity to worldly patterns and values that steer us far away from His truth.

The daily practice of renewing our minds allows us to shift from worldly thinking to Kingdom thinking. This transformation begins with our thoughts—what we perceive our realities to be, what we focus on, what we give our energy to, and how we think about ourselves and others. Each time we consciously rewire our thinking from a place of lack and limitation to love and peace, transformation happens from the inside out. It is through this ongoing process of discerning God’s will that our minds are truly renewed.

We come to realize that God’s will is always good, acceptable, and perfect. Although the world may try to convince you that all suffering and chaos is God’s will, it is through your ongoing practice of mind renewal and spiritual discernment that you not only grow closer to God, but also learn how to change your own energy and reality. From that place, you begin to change the world around you through His authentic will—a will that consistently leads to love, peace, healing, and restoration for all. And if we all collectively followed this path, we would experience a New Earth.

Let’s Pray

Dear God, today I ask for strength to resist conformity to the negativity and chaos surrounding this world. Help me renew and transform my thinking, giving me discernment to distinguish between what is true and what is deception, so that I can understand your will with greater clarity.

I commit to aligning my mind with your truth rather than the world’s lies, and I ask for wisdom to test and prove what pleases you in my daily decisions. When the world tries to convince me that suffering and pain are your will, remind me that your authentic will always leads to love, peace, and restoration.

Thank you that your will is always good, acceptable, and perfect—never leading to harm, but always toward healing and wholeness. Transform my mind so that I can be an instrument of your true will in this world. Amen.
