No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us.
Romans 8:37
Devotional Message
As you look back on your life, you might assume that every trial, tribulation, and hardship was something you merely survived. However, the divine victories we emerged from prove the opposite—we didn’t just survive those past challenges, but we thrived through them—where each moment infused our souls with more resilience, supernatural strength, and holy grace. We are more than our pain and our past; our conquering power in Christ allowed us to surpass ordinary victory, not through our own strength, but through the foundation and source of Christ’s eternal love.
Regardless of current circumstances, the moment we see ourselves as conquerors through Him who loved us, we shift from being victims to victors in God’s kingdom. Each challenge becomes a sacred portal, each trial becomes a source of spiritual expansion, and each rock bottom leads to our greatest divine triumphs. Yet, if we see ourselves as victims of our reality, then we will experience more pain and suffering. But when we embrace our identity as more than conquerors, every moment of our lives becomes a holy gift, where we believe with divine certainty that everything is unfolding for our highest good according to God’s perfect plan.
By receiving Christ’s love, we also receive supernatural power to overcome anything else that comes our way. We no longer need to fight for victory, but rather we live from it—walking in the authority of our conquering identity. To the point where regardless of the mountains and valleys we traverse in our spiritual journey, the entire path becomes a testament to His overwhelming victory working through us. This is what it means to be ‘more than conquerors’—not just winning, but experiencing triumph in every season through His unfailing love.
Let’s Pray
Dear God, thank you for allowing me to see myself as a conqueror and not a victim. Today, I’m letting go of the belief that I am a victim of my circumstances and instead, choosing to see myself as a victor through everything I have gone through.
As I seek to overcome my current challenges, please instill Christ’s love and supernatural strength within me, so that He is the source of my victory. Allow me to boldly step into my conqueror identity, so that I can help others discover that they too are more than just survivors—they are thrivers through Your love.
Help me remember that in all these things, I am more than a conqueror through Him who loved me, and that this victory is not based on my circumstances but on Your unfailing love. Amen.
