Devotional Message

God’s plans and blessings for your life exceed your human comprehension and imagination. Our natural senses—sight and hearing—cannot fully grasp what God has in store for us, and how could they? Our human intellect and reasoning are limited—we make conclusions and develop beliefs based on our past or what we currently see in the present moment, whereas God has an infinite view where time doesn’t exist, where the past, present and future are one. And in that ethereal, infinite space, God is preparing blessings that surpass our wildest dreams and expectations. Our only role, then, is to maintain faith—fully trusting in what we cannot yet see or fully understand, and having certainty that whatever has happened, is happening or will happen, is all part of God’s miraculous, wonderful and jaw-dropping plan for our lives.

When we truly love God with all of our hearts—not only for what He does but for who He is—our vessels become open enough to receive all of His blessings without being attached to any outcome. Sometimes, we do need to wait—not because God doesn’t believe we are ready, but because He is orchestrating things in the background that involve other people, places and energies that aren’t yet. This is where Divine timing plays the final role, as it is the moment where all forces come together, where the blessing is ready to be delivered straight to you. So within this waiting period, rather than feeling anxious, worried or doubtful, you can anticipate the beautiful future that God is working on through excitement, joy and peace. The question then becomes: can you trust the promise of a future glory that will stem from your current struggles? Can you trust that you are whole, worthy and deserving to receive the blessing, even thought it may not look that way?

While we are all divine creators in our reality, where we get to choose how we want our lives to look and feel, remember: God is the ultimate artist. His creativity and divinity exceed all human imagination. Yet, the bigger you dream, the grander you visualize, the deeper you go… you begin to realize that all of your desires exist because God is already working on them. Find excitement in that truth, for if God is making you wait, than that means the blessing is going to be extravagant, full of awe and wonder, and a gift where you will one day look up and say, “God, this is more than what I ever thought was possible.”

Let’s Pray

Dear God, thank you for all of the blessings you are currently working on that will one day leave me marveling. While I cannot see or understand what you are working on, why I am struggling right now, or where this moment will lead, I will trust you more today and devote myself to having faith in you. Even though I can’t see the full picture, I trust in your character and goodness, and that this is all unfolding in this exact way for my highest good. Help me feel anticipation and excitement rather than fear and worry. Allow me to find joy in the waiting period and deepen my patience as I wait for your timing in revealing your plans. Give me eyes of faith to catch glimpses of what you are preparing for me, and help me surrender my limited understanding to your infinite wisdom. Amen.
