Your Daily Devotional 8/7/2025: If He Gave His Son, He’ll Give You Everything Else

He who did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all—how will he not also, along with him, graciously give us all things?

Romans 8:32

Devotional Message

If God so generously gave His most precious gift—Jesus—what could ever make us believe that He won’t provide abundantly for us? The extent of God’s love in this sacrifice is proof of His logic when it comes to giving—if He gave the greatest, then He surely will give ‘lesser’ gifts. Knowing this to our core, our entire perspective on God’s willingness to provide and bless changes—we no longer doubt whether He will favor us, but rather trust that it already has been done.

In the context of God’s will and purposes, ‘all things’ refer to whatever desire or vision is in your heart that aligns with His higher plan for you. Whether it’s unconditional love that you are calling in, a dream job that fulfills you, financial freedom that you seek, or radiant health that you are working towards, that desire was planted in your heart because it’s already part of God’s plan for you. As long as you believe He can and will provide according to His perfect will, He will.

This level of security is when the game changes—where we move from doubt about God’s provision into a state of pure confidence in His giving nature. We no longer question whether it’s possible or whether God hears our prayers, but rather live in a state of peace knowing that His desire is to bless us abundantly and that He is actively working behind the scenes to bring it to fruition. From this state, all fears and worries dissolve, and instead, our hearts are filled with a deep sense of gratitude knowing that God will graciously give us exactly what we need, when we need it, along with the gift of His Son.

Let’s Pray

Dear God, thank you for Your ultimate gift of Jesus and for reminding me today that if You can bless us with Him, then You will also graciously provide everything else that I seek, and more. Lately I’ve been doubting the possibility of receiving blessings from You, so help me trust in Your generous heart, that You will not withhold good things from me. I know You want the best for me and want to give me as much love, abundance, and peace as possible, so remove the barriers within me that prevent me from receiving those blessings. Help me find gratitude for what I have, and deepen my trust muscle each time I begin to fear or doubt. I trust that Your heart is to give, not withhold, and today I will live from the place that everything I seek according to Your will is already mine. Help me remember that He who did not spare His own Son will surely give me all things along with Him. Amen.
